Opportunity for Kids of Color in Golf. On this track of Pints & Putts, we dive into the OAKC program with founders Peter Harris and Marty Shea. Opportunity & Access for Kids of Color, and program that was started in Manchester, CT at Manchester Country Club.

The goal is to give the youth of Manchester, and specifically the black and brown community, access to the game of golf. Peter talks about his experience in golf as a black man, and how important he thinks this program is, and what it can do for junior golf. Peter and Marty explain to us how the idea for this program came about and how it evolved into the great success that was OAKC 2021.
